It is learned that the Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) is accepting applications for the post of Specialist Officer (SO) in Public Sector Banks. This is replacing 1828 posts through Job Notification. There are posts like IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Official Language Officer, Law Officer, HR Personal Officer, Marketing Officer.

IBPS Recruitment 2021 – Exam Pattern
IBPS will select these posts through Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The exam pattern is different for different posts. The Preliminary Exam for the post of Law Officer, Official Language Officer consists of 150 questions for 125 marks. 25 marks for 50 questions in English Language, 50 marks for 50 questions in Reasoning and 50 marks for 50 questions related to General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry. Each section consists of 40 minutes with 120 minutes i.e. two hours exam.
The posts of IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer will have 150 questions for 125 marks. 25 marks for 50 questions in English Language, 50 marks for 50 questions in Reasoning and 50 marks for 50 questions in Quantitative Aptitude. Each section consists of 120 minutes i.e. 120 minutes i.e. two hours exam.
Looking at the details of the Main Examination, the posts of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer will get 60 marks out of 60 questions in Professional Knowledge. Time limit will be 45 minutes. Professional Knowledge for the post of Official Language Officer consists of Objective 45 questions and Descriptive 2 questions. A total of 60 marks. And for this time limit will be 60 minutes.
The job notification has been issued to fill vacancies in Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Punjab National Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India.
IBPS Exam Date
Interviews will be in the Preliminary Exam on December 12, 2021, the Main Exam on January 30, 2022, and in February or March 2022. Those who qualify for the Preliminary Exam will be interviewed for the Main Examination and those who qualify for the Main Examination. The provisional allotment will be in April 2022.
All the candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- their application fee. Payment can be processed through Debit Card / Virtual Card / MasterCard / Maestro / Rupee), Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS and Cash Cards / Mobile Wallets, by providing on-screen information.
