Jai Bhim Controversy: The film says nothing about Ambedkar’s autobiography, the film is based on a true incident that happened in Cuddalore district.
Jai Bhim Controversy
The leader of the Shastris in South India, J. The North Indian umbrella organization Shri Rajput Karuna Sena has strongly condemned Guru for insulting him in the film Jai Bhim. Mahipal Singh Maharana, chairman of the Jaibeem Film Group, warned that they were ready to come to Chennai in support of the Vanni, but that the issue would escalate and that they would file a case in the Supreme Court over the issue.
Despite being a social justice and anti-caste slogan, it was the guiding state for India, and no one can deny that it is Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu has the mindset to accept whatever is counter-argument to argument, argument to argument. It has become a matter of controversy that some political parties have raised their voices in Tamil Nadu, which is marginalized by such social justice and tolerance, that a certain scene in a film has degraded a community.
Looking at what is happening, it is doubtful whether Tamil Nadu is becoming a northern state little by little. As Jaybeam’s film has been hailed by people across language and race, the hot topic is that Pamakavinar has been vocal in his opposition to the fact that a calendar featured in it has hurt their community and for actor Surya to apologise.
Bamaka’s action has been hailed as politically motivated and aimed at stifling freedom of expression. What is the new culture that is not suitable for Tamil Nadu, is Tamil Nadu gradually becoming North India? And many are raising their voices. In this situation, the Sri Rajput Karna Sena, an organization for northern Chhatris, has given its voice in support of the Vanni. The head of the organization who released the video has publicly warned actor Surya. In it, he also quoted their struggle against the Padmavathi film, saying that Surya had spoken in a threatening tone as if we had seen Bollywood.
The story of Padmini, the queen of Chittoor, has been made into a movie under the name Padmavathi. Actress Deepika Padukone plays Rani Padmini. The Rajputs, who live in Rajasthan, Gujarat and the Maratha states, have strongly objected, accusing it of misrepresenting the history of Chittoor queen Padmini.
As a result of that struggle, the famous director of the film Sanjay Leela Bhansali Bikaranga apologized. Deepika Padukone, who played Padmini in the film during the protest, will have her nose cut off. Speaking on the occasion, the leader of the movement, Mahibalsingh Maharana, said the film titled Jaibeem had nothing to do with Dr Ambedkar.
The film does not talk about Ambedkar’s autobiography. The character is named after the Guru who was the great leader of the Satriya clan in Tamil Nadu. This was done with the intention of humiliating the Shatris. The Vanniya Chhatris are being humiliated by using the Agni Chatti of the Chhatris. We strongly condemn this.
I can only say one thing to actor Surya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali who was your father’s father apologized to us. Everyone knows the struggle we had when the Padmavathi movie was released. We apologized to the crew for the struggle.
If the film is directed with the intention of humiliating the Guru and the Satriya people we will come to Chennai, so the problem will be bigger when we come. We will definitely take this issue to the Supreme Court and we will stand behind the Vanni and the Chhatris all over India, the Chhatris of the Vanni clan. Thus he warned.
