ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Full Schedule : The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is started from 17 october. The tournament is being hosted by the BCCI in Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament will run from 17 october to november 17. This is the seventh edition of the T20 World Cup. A total of 16 teams will show their strength in the tournament, but only 12 teams will face each other for the title.

Eight teams have qualified directly for the tournament while the qualifiers for the four places will be played between eight other teams. Let’s have a look at the full schedule of ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

The tournament will have the first qualifying matches, in which 8 teams will clash. There are two groups of four teams each in the qualifying round. Sri Lanka, Ireland, Namibia and Netherlands are in Group A while Bangladesh, Oman, Scotland, Papua New Guinea are in Group B. Let us tell you that only the top-2 teams from both the groups will get a chance to go to the next round i.e. Super-12 stage.

Super-12 is also divided into two groups. Group 1 consists of Australia, South Africa, England, West Indies, A1 and B2. At the same time, in Group-2, India, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Pakistan, B1 and A2 are there. Each team has to play a total of five matches in the Super-12 round. After this, the top-2 teams of both the groups will enter the semi-finals and then finally two teams will clash for the title.

Team India will start their campaign in the tournament against Pakistan on October 24. After this, India will face New Zealand in the second match. The match will take place on 31 October in Dubai. The Indian team will play against Afghanistan in the third match. This match of both the teams will be held in Abu Dhabi on November 3.
