The main examination of the Union Public Service Commission will be held from 07 to 16 January 2022. However, the application process (UPSC IAS Mains 2021 DAF) ends today. It is a known fact that UPSC releases civil services notification every year to replace top civil servants like IAS and IPS. Already completed the preliminary examination of the year 2021.

The main exam will be conducted soon. Mains exam will be held on 7th, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th January. However, this time many candidates have asked UPSC to give them an option in case they change the exam centre.

The Civil Services Main Examination (UPSC IAS Mains 2021) is conducted in two sessions. The morning session is from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon session is from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Selection will be made through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview in Civil Services. Candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for interview.

What is DAF?

UPSC is required to fill the application form for the Civil Services Examination at various levels. Fill the online application form for prelims. Those who qualify will have to fill a form for the main exam. It is called the Detailed Application Form (UPSC DAF 1).

Apart from this, the examination fee has to be paid. However UPSC Civil Services Main Exam will be conducted on January 7, 8, 9, 15, 16. The admit card for the main exam will be declared in December. Candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for interview.

As per the instructions, the filling of DAF form for UPSC Mains exam has started from 23rd November. Candidates who do not fill the DAF form will not be able to appear in the Civil Services Main Examination in January.
